Maui Hawaii Day 1 & 2

Mr. Hunt and I just got back from our trip to Maui Hawaii that we went on for Mr. Hunt's hard work this year. Each year the top reps and top managers are awarded a trip and this year was Maui. It was also the first time we've left Jane so in the midst of enjoying ourselves, we were also missing our baby.

Wednesday: After a 3 hour flight to LA and a 5 hour flight to Maui, we made it to our wonderful resort, the Westin Maui and settled into the room with a view!

We also received a package from his company with some welcome gifts.

Gift card
floppy hat
nike hat
button down shirt
beach wrap
sunscreen
candy
bag
beach mat

Then we got ready for the welcome reception. We were very excited to see all of our friends we hadn't seen in a year.

The views were great

And a fire dancer came out for a show

I'm so proud of Mr. Hunt's hard work

Thursday: at 5am we went deep sea fishing. It was so nice to see the sun rise over the islands.

Mr. Hunt and Ryan. Mr. Hunt had beef jerky in his mouth so excuse him.

As our guide was throwing the lines in, we just took in all the views. They were incredible

Waiting on a fish!

Our guide threw out 5 lines and assigned them to each of us.

Then he (or I, because I was the guinea pig) showed everyone how to reel in the fish.

Then we waited........

and waited

and looked for some humpback whales.....

and after 5 hours, we didn't catch anything. We were kind of upset, but we got a great morning boat ride and a tan. The other two boats caught one fish each so we got to see theirs.

Once we got back, we walked around the resort.

Flamingos!

Waterfall in the lobby

Then we headed to the beach. The men played some beach games while the women laid out and watched.

The boys were getting crazy after a few drinks and decided to to gangnam style in the water. The videographer of the trip wanted them to do it for the video so you see him in my video too.

After a small rest we got ready and went to the local Luau. The first unveiled the pig that had been cooking in the ground all day. We couldn't see until the end because there were so many people standing around it.

The Charlotte Team.

Then we ate and the dancing started

Back at the resort we were amazed to find the "Aloha Paycom" sign on top of the resort

We hung out for a few drinks before heading to bed. I'm telling you....the time change was kicking our butts! 5 hours behind doesn't seem like much, but when its 10pm (3am back at home) you are ready for bed!

Ill be back with details of the rest of our trip!

Aloha,
Luau Babe
