Christmas Day

This was the first year EVER that our family slept in on Christmas Morning. Every year the siblings have a deal that whoever wakes up first has to go wake up everyone else. So the past few years its been Davis, but this year, we all slept in. I think the latest we have ever woke up before this year was 8am. This year, we started the first gift at 11am. Yes, my fur babies actually woke me up this year.
To keep with tradition, I sang Happy Birthday to River as soon as I woke up while still in bed. He seemed to know that I was singing to him, but Hannah was more excited....go figure?
Sadly we had to keep River and Hannah in my bedroom while we opened gifts. We tried for a few minutes to leave them all out, but they were more interested in playing with Charlie and knocking down all the gifts, and almost the tree.
Here is Charlie playing with a rope from Santa.

Here is the tree with the gifts!

Once we were finished opening gifts, the boys went straight to the video games.

Here is the birthday boy next to the tree. Isn't he handsome?

We then headed over to my grandparents house where my mom's side of the family were.
Me and Davis!

Mr. Hunt and Uncle Dean smoking cigars!

Melissa and Dylan drinking Moonshine!

We love family time!

Dad and Dylan cut the ham...and ate some while they were at it.

Davis watching basketball and Ellie playing on her new PlayStation DS

Then it was time for the gifts

We open from youngest to oldest, so Ellie was first.

Nice picture of us, with Shane's head and fingers!

Davis was next. He got a few things, but this was the framed picture of the Lakers winning last year. He loved it.

Then Grandma brought out the crackers. Look at the boys faces as they tried to crack them.

They both got the same thing. A charm!

Then it was my turn. What happens here is that I crack mine open, it smells really bad, and then all there was inside was a little baggie.....empty!

If anyone is wondering if Mr. Hunt had a good time? Look at the next few pictures. He sure does have a great time with our family.

Then my dad tried to look like Mr. Hunt! haha! Sorry, its blurry!

My favorite part of the crackers, are the crowns!

Then lastly, grandma hands out the scratch offs. Each person gets two each. Mr. Hunt won $10 this year! Yay!

We had a great Christmas day this year. We got a ton of great presents, a ton of great family time, and a ton of great food. What more could you ask for? Of course, we talked about baby Jesus being born and thought about how lucky we are that God sent his son to the earth so that our sins could be forgiven.
And just for fun, here are the fur babies relaxing on Christmas day.

River stuck his head in Mr. Hunt's shower, so his head was a little wet. We have a glass closed shower, so he wasn't sure what Mr. Hunt was doing behind that silly curtain.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas like we did.

Love,
Jennifer Hunt
