Tummy Time

Jane has always liked to be on her tummy, even the doctor said she was shocked at how she never screamed when we had her on her tummy in the office. But, she doesn't like it for long. She starts to get really frustrated and ends up fussing alot.

As you may or may not know, tummy time is important for small babies so they can learn to hold their head up and strengthen those muscles for rolling over, reaching things, and eventually crawling. I put her down for tummy time on her play mat, but it only lasts for about 2 minutes before she starts to cry. But she really likes the boppy version.

These first ones are at our old house and she was about 2.5 months old. Its crazy how different she already looks only a month later.

River is very interested.

"Ok, I love you and you smell good, Ill give you a big kiss"

Now Hannah wants to know whats going on.

She even smiles and "talks" while propped up like this.

Cant get enough of her....everything!

Looking up at the TV of course.

Finally looking at mommy.

Look how high she holds that head.

We still do more tummy time on her play mat since that will help her the most, but if I have things to do and need her content for a few minutes, we do this.

Love
Jennifer
