Fashionista?

Its real silly to just assume Jane is a fashionista. In fact, she isn't. Alas (despite what you may think) she doesn't ever dress herself or pick out her outfits. I like to think she picks them out when in reality I pick them out, hold it up, ask her if she wants to wear that, and every time without fail, she grabs it and hugs it.....guess that's a YES! Ill let you know when she starts to really pick out her outfits or if she ever refuses to wear something.

Anyway, I'm no fashion guru either, but baby/kids clothes are just so cute. Sometimes I wish it were this easy to dress myself.

We got a TON of baby clothes for Jane, but the masses ended at about 9 months, and she was done wearing 9 month sized clothes right as she was turning 9 months. At first I was panicked thinking that I needed to go out and buy a bunch of clothes, but in reality we had enough. It just wasn't the same amount that we previously had. We are so grateful for all the clothes that she got previously, but she literally wore each thing once maybe twice and some things never.

Now that we are having to go out and buy her clothes, my thinking is that she grows SO fast right now that she really only needs enough clothes to last a week or maybe a week and a half. I do laundry once a week so that will be good. Also, with the cooler temps coming (but haven't arrived yet) its hard to know what to get in what size when.

Anyway, again, we are super grateful (and LOVED) all the clothes we received for Jane, but besides a few pieces from her grandparents here and there, we get to pick what to buy now and its actually quite fun.

All that rambling and I wanted to share two cute outfits that Jane wore recently. Alas, one was handed down and one I bought even before Jane was born. Doh!

This is one that was handed down from Cameron. Its light weight and the design is cool. I love these rompers. They are so easy to dress her but aren't just a onsie.

This is one I bought before she was born. I knew without ever setting eyes on her that she would look great in this.

Yep, its another romper. Were fans. Don't let her face in this next picture fool you, she was excited!

So yes, if I have any good advice for other moms (and dads) out there, you can definitely get buy with a few staples of clothing at least right now while they are still growing like weeds. I might change my mind once she is growing a little slower around 2 years.

Love
Jen
