Jane is 2.5

Well....its been a half of a year since Ive done a little update on my princess. She has changed SO MUCH in the past 6 months that it was actually hard for me to even think of what was different (it seems like everything is)!

She is about 40 inches tall and weighs about 32 pounds. She's very tall and thin. She wears size 3T clothes, mainly because she has a long torso like me so 2T dresses and shirts are too short. She wears size 8 or 9 shoe mainly because he feet are on the wider end.

We are in the middle of potty training right now but she is size 5 diaper (but growing out of them quick) and size 2T 3T pull up or swim diaper

We have started to potty train her. She is 99% potty trained at home (besides sleep) only if she is naked. If we put underwear on her she thinks its a diaper and has accidents. So we are still working.

She knows all of the alphabet, she can count to 20, she knows all the shapes, all her body parts, and all the colors.

She loves bandaids and wants to put one on very little bump.

At 2 years and 5 months old she finally learned to climb out of her crib. We transitioned her to a big girl bed and she has done GREAT! She loved her crib so much, but it was time to move on. She also "gave" Jackson her crib. She was so proud!

We are in the middle of working on identifying numbers and letters now.

She is talking. That. Is. It. Thats all I can say. She has no issue with talking. She is a chatter box. She has full sentences, has full conversations with us, and copy everything we say.

When she doesn't want to do something she says "I Cant" Its very dramatic!

She still has her paci but only for naps, bedtime, and in the car.

She has all of her teeth, but her 2 year old molars are still coming in. They are taking their time and they are HUGE!

She is VERY independent. She loves doing things on her own. Especially getting out of the tub, washing her hands, trying to put her clothes and shoes on, and trying to buckle her carseat.

She loves her baby brother Jackson. If someone else tries to put his paci in when he needs it, she throws a fit! She loves putting his blanket on and cries when he cries. They are going to be best friends.

She went to her first Easter Egg Hunt and really liked it.

She has memorized our blessing before meals and her prayers (she calls blessings) before bed, and doesn't every forget to say them.

Jane doesn't know a stranger and it can be kind of scary sometimes. She loves other people and is NOT shy.

She also LOVES other kids. She just recently likes to give things back to other kids. If someone drops something, she runs over and gives it back. She loves holding other kids hands and giving hugs. She also likes to make sure everyone is included.

She likes playing with play-doh, coloring, and painting the best

She is obsessed with Frozen the movie. She knows all the words and the songs. She also loves all the Disney Princesses. Although she hasn't seen all the movies, she knows each ones name.

She knows how to navigate my phone very well. Especially to open it and find either the camera, or the YouTube Kids app to watch kid videos.

She loves taking random pictures of things and Vlogging with the video camera like I do.

She is a SPONGE! She says and does things that I do without me even teaching her, especially things I do with Jackson as well as songs.

She loves her Gym class. Its the only extra circular thing we have her signed up for right now, but she loves it. She has made some good friends in her gym class.

She is learning how to share, stand in line, and take turns.

She really likes soccer (and is pretty good I might add), and Mr. Hunt taught her how to catch a ball and throw really well too.

She loves singing!

She loves puzzles!

She still loves her Lala (elmo) and lovie, but just started to get into baby dolls as well.

She was a flower girl in her Uncle Dylan and Aunt Jenn's wedding.

She went fishing for the first time but didn't catch anything.

We bought her a bike but she hasn't learned to steer or pedal quite yet.

She loves to help bake. Pouring and stirring are her favorite.

She wrestles Hannah and "rides" River. She calls Hannah "Hannie"

Im so proud of the little lady she has become in the last few months. Man did she grow so quick once Jackson got here. She is such a good helper and is so sweet. Im happy that she is independent and loves other people. It makes my life a little easier (and sometimes harder).

Jane,
You are beautiful inside and out. Thanks for being YOU! We love you!
Love,
Mom Dad and Jax
