Mr. Hunt is 25!

Yesterday was Mr. Hunt's 25th birthday! He was pretty excited because now he can rent a car and hopefully his car insurance will go down in price (we will see). Too bad his birthday was on a Monday though, but we celebrated on Sunday during the Superbowl.
On the morning of his birthday, he stumbled into the bathroom half asleep just like every other morning and I said "Happy Birthday Babe!" right away. His eyes lit up and he said, "Oh my gosh, I forgot it was my birthday," and he put a huge smile on his face, which I love!
During the day I was sending him birthday texts all day and letting him know that he could pick whatever he wanted for dinner. When we got off work he went to get his haircut while I went home to let the dogs out. Mr. Hunt decided that he wanted crab legs for dinner so we headed to Hickory Tavern for dinner. Mr. Hunt got the bucket of trash which is ten steamed oysters, crab legs, and shrimp! Its really made for two people to share, but he ate it all on his own with the exception of me eating one of the crab legs.
When we got home we watched the Glee episode that we had recorded from Sunday night. Mr. Hunt didn't watch too much because he was busy on the Internet playing with on of his birthday gifts. After Glee I ended up turning on The Bachelor which Mr. Hunt doesn't like to watch, but he said it was OK since he was on the computer.
So what is it that was on the Internet that I got him for his birthday? I got him a subscription to Rivals.com which is a college football website. Right now is recruiting time for colleges and Mr. Hunt has loved looking up articles and watching videos that are only available to people that have a subscription. I think he feels like he has the inside scoop that not many other people have.
I also bought him tickets to Cirque De Soliei TOTEM that is coming to Charlotte in March. Mr. Hunt and I went to one of their shows when we were in Las Vegas for my 21st birthday and we loved it! I thought he would really enjoy going to another show. We are excited even though it is a whole month from his birthday.
Lastly, I baked carrot cake cupcakes with cream cheese icing for him. Mr. Hunt doesn't really like cake or anything sweet for that matter but he does like carrot cake. I think Ive been eating more cupcakes then him though.
He doesn't know this yet, but I just bought him the Girl scout Samoas ice cream today. He is going to be very surprised!
All in all I think he had a pretty good day. I told him that we could pretend the whole week was his birthday though so today was "Happy day after your birthday!"

Dear Mr. Hunt,

I love you so very much. I hope that your day was amazing and fun! I hope that you like all of your gifts too! Get ready to celebrate the rest of the week!.

Love,

Jennifer

My Achiever

Mr. Hunt has been doing so great at work that I really wanted to share with everyone. He is such a hard worker and he deserves a shout out!
Mr. Hunt is always working as hard as he can. He is very driven and wants to do good in anything he does. When he first started at his job, Paycom, he was doing good but he knew he could do better. Since he was first starting out he was struggling to get a great client base and good recommendations. There is so much more to sales, but that is basically what it was.
Now, a year later he is killing it! He is currently the #7 rep in the country! THAT IS AMAZING! He did a presentation by himself in front of the whole company!
He is so excited now and I think it is making him work even harder. I do miss him when he has to work late or has to drive somewhere and stay at a hotel, but it is all worth it.

Mr. Hunt,
I'm not sure I tell you enough, but I am so proud of you. You are working so hard and it is finally paying off! Thank you for busting your tush for our little family. I appreciate it very much. It makes me so happy to know that you are in a job that you enjoy going to everyday and that you feel confident in yourself everyday. I love when you come home everyday with a huge smile on your face.

Love,
Your Fiance :)

Country Girl

So Ive figured it out. I'm just your girl next door country style! So you are probably wondering what I mean by that. Well, Ill try to explain.

1. I love the outdoors: Anything that has to do with the fresh air and warm weather, I love it!

2. I love country music: Pretty much any country song puts me in a great mood. I wish there were more country stations here in Charlotte, and when I go home to Bluffton...I'm in heaven! There are so many country stations there

3. I really want to live on a farm: Ive thought about this one long and hard. I really don't think I would be capable of taking care of that big of land and all the animals that come with a farm, but that would be awesome! If I had someone to take care of it all, I would live there in a heartbeat. I would have a few horses, maybe some cows, a TON of dogs, and even some cats. Now Mr. Hunt and Boss Hunt (I think even Katie) are allergic to cats, but since I would live on a farm, they probably wouldn't even come in contact with the cats too much.

4. I love country accents: I never thought (and still don't think) I have an accent but I remember when I moved to Columbia, SC from Hilton Head and alot of people thought that I had an accent. I think Ive lost it a little since I have been surrounded by many people during college and now live in Charlotte. I'm not sure what it is about the country accent that I like. I think it reminds me of southern charm or something.

5. Lastly (and I know there are more reasons) is because I love the south. I love the fact that I grew up in the south where I went to the beach, could play outside in the warm weather barefoot, and could play on a boat daily. I hope (and I don't think ) I will ever leave the south!

So there you have it! I'm a country girl at heart. Maybe one day I will live on a farm, but pretty much everything else is already with me.
