Photo Updates (Texas Start)

We finally made it to Texas and we are ready to start our new life.

Monday February 27th

Hannah loves this window already. We haven't ever had a window this low to the ground and she sits here all day looking at everything outside.

Tuesday February 28th

The movers were here today and they left us with a million boxes to open.

Wednesday February 29th

Mr. Hunt is going to freak! They have 20 packs of diet coke here! In Charlotte, we only had 12 packs. (Since this picture we have also found 24 packs of diet coke too, a case!)

Thursday March 1st

I had to get a good picture of the couch that wouldn't fit into the guest bedroom so that I could try to sell it on craigslist. Fingers crossed I get a good deal.


Friday March 2nd

I made this delicious fruit salad....and ate it all in a week. I decided that while everything else around us is changing, so should our horrible eating habits. We've been trying to eat healthier since moving here. Its proving to be harder than we thought only because there are so many restaurants we want to try, not all are healthy.


Saturday March 3rd

See? Not so healthy, but oh so good! Dinner at Rudy's


Sunday March 4th

...and more eating out. We can't help it, we love food....and sweet tea. YUM!


Monday March 5th

More unpacking. River is starting to get comfortable with all the paper.


Tuesday March 6th

We are glad we made it to Taste of Round Rock even though it was on a Tuesday night. It was good, but crowded and very windy that night!


Wednesday March 7th

The fur babies aren't used to being out of the crate all day, not to mention following me around while I unpack. They are exhausted about half way through the day. This picture brought tears to my eyes. Look how much they love each other. Wow!


Thursday March 8th

The garage is starting to look pretty bad, but there isn't anywhere else to put all these boxes.


Friday March 9th

You can get a good view of the Texas Longhorn Football Stadium if you drive down I-35


Saturday March 10th

I love family time.


Sunday March 11th

We've had two different neighbors come by so far with chocolate chop cookies. So sweet of them, but don't they knew we are trying to be on a diet?

Wednesday March 14th

Hannah LOVES apples. Like, almost obsessed. Every time I get one out, she sits right next to me and stares at me until I'm finished and let her have some.


Thursday March 15th

My first furniture painting project.


Friday March 16th

Rachel came into town this day and we went to SXSW which is a music festival that has been going on for a few weeks here in downtown Austin. This guys were playing music and sending the message that you don't have to be starving. There is free food....aka grow your own. Duh!


Saturday March 17th

Ive come to the conclusion that I have a really big head and I need a tan. That's all.


Sunday March 18th

See this tree? These are the ones that are all over Austin and are the ones that are blooming right now causing serious allergy awfulness. Hurry up and finish blooming tree so I can have my husband back.


Monday March 19th

Rachel and I went to the capital building to take a tour. It is the biggest capital building in the US. 


Tuesday March 20th

OK, I'm going to toot my horn here....this is the BEST picture I have ever taken of Hannah before. I'm finally getting the hang of this camera. Its hard to get good pictures, you really have to think and try. This is why it is good for me to do this photo a day, it forces me to practice. I need to frame this one.

Wednesday March 21st

Seriously, this dog is nothing if he didn't retrieve for hours upon hours a day. He can't get enough of it. What makes me happy is seeing him happy. He is the happiest when he is doing just this. Look at his face!

Thursday March 22nd

Momma's boy thinks he is 10lbs and likes to sit on my lap. Its OK for 30 minutes or so until my legs falls asleep and I have to move them. Then he grunts, gets off, walks around a bit, and tries to get back on my lap.




YAY!!! OMG I thought this day would never come! I'm finally caught up! Hallelujah! I understand all I do on this blog is promise things, so I'm not going to do that again. I'm just going to say that I'm going to try my hardest not to get that far behind again. Its actually hard to go through my pictures and remember which ones we "supposed" to be the photo of the day. You guys understand right? We did just move across the country.
