Disney World! Day 4

 The last day we spent Hollywood Studios. Just like Animal Kingdom, there were only a few things that would get Jane's attention in here. BUT the #1 thing was that it was the last week of a FROZEN SUMMER. Everything was Frozen Theme in the park. They had little parades and shows outside of random Frozen things, so Jane ABSOLUTELY LOVED that.

We didn't have anything planned as far as fast passes until lunch so when we got there we kind of just walked around and rode a few rides. Jane got to meet Lightning McQueen and Mater

We also saw a muppets 3D show that she loved. Then we walked back over to go to lunch with the Disney Jr. Characters. Again, such a great things to be able to eat and meet these characters who Jane LOVES!

Not only did the characters walk around and meet everyone, they also took dance breaks where the kids could go up and dance with them. You'll have to go to my youtube video to see that!

Then we went to ride more rides like Toy Story Mania and the Disney Jr. Live Show. 

After that Jane was very tired and we had a break in the action until our next fast pass and there weren't many other rides for her age. We brought our own stroller this day becuase we were going to be staying all the way through dinner and possible for fireworks so we really needed to try to get her to take a nap. She FINALLY fell asleep. We had to remember the paci. Jane still takes a paci at nap and bedtime. The other days, we didn't have a paci and when she was getting tired on the bus rides back to the hotel, she would always ask for the paci. We also had to keep walking in order for her to fall asleep. There were a few times where it seemed like she was about to fall asleep and then we would stop into a store or something and she would wake up. Once we finally got to to sleep, we stopped and had a snack in a nice shaded area. There was a breeze and it was SO nice. 

After she woke up it was time for the main event. The Frozen Sing A Long. This was the ONE thing that I knew we HAD to do while Disney. Jane absolutely loved it. She sang her little heart out! I teared up at some point just seeing her SO happy. It even snowed at the end and you would have thought her life was made!

Next we went to the Honey I Shrunk the Kids Playground. It was an AWESOME play area where it made it look like you were shrunk....everything was really big! I was thinking about how old that movie is and how none of the kids playing in that area probably had a clue what that movie was, but they didn't care.

Then we had dinner reservations at an Italian Restaurant. This was the one nice restaurant we ate at, all the other nights we ate at the cafeteria at our resort. The food was amazing! When we were done, we wanted to stay for the fireworks (they were Frozen theme and went off to the Frozen soundtrack....something that wasn't always going to be there for next time we go), but it was getting late and Jane actually doesn't even like fireworks. Although I think she would have liked them if we stayed sine they were Frozen ones, we just decided to go back. We had been there since 10am or earlier.

The next day was the day we had to go home. Jane and Daddy took a quick swim while I packed up the room and our stuff. We also went shopping for some souvenirs. I just had to take Jane's picture with some of the artwork in the lobby.

Looking back at these pictures really makes me sad. She had THE BEST time here. There was NOTHING that she didn't like (except the fireworks a little). One day, she's going to be too old to really care. Although I think Disney World is fun at any age, it wont be the same. Everything is SO MAGICAL to her at this age. She likes EVERYTHING from the princesses to Disney Jr. characters. We will be sure to go back with Jackson soon too! We got to go as much as we can while everything is cool to them.

Disney World! Day 3

The third day was Animal Kingdom. Growing up, I only went there once and I don't remember it being super fun, but I wanted to take Jane on the safari for sure, and they also had a Finding Nemo Musical and she loves Finding Nemo....so off we went. 

We scheduled a character breakfast with Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy , and Mickey. Again, I definitely recommend character meals. They are a little more expensive (obviously) than a regular meal, but the fact that we got to sit down, be served a meal in air condition, and the characters came to us was fabulous. Jane of course loved all the characters!

Goofy was the best. Jane said he was her favorite (she's never said that before, so I think she made that up) but it made Goofy very happy!

Next we decided to ride the train over to the petting zoo. Jane loved the train, then we ran into Chip and Dale. Jane doesn't have a clue who they are, but she still wanted to meet them!

The petting zoo was ok. We could have skipped it, it was basically just a bunch of goats. We did find Rafiki though and Jane was being VERY energetic at this point and time. She spun Rafiki around a million times. The lady taking a picture actually had to tell her to stop or Rafiki was going to get dizzy and fall.

Then we went to go see the Finding Nemo Musical which was really good. We had a fast pass for that so we got to sit in the very front and also near the stage where the characters came running out. It was the perfect length for little kids too. 

Then there wasn't much else for us to do in Animal Kingdom that would catch Jane's attention. Plus, she wasn't behaving. I think she was tired and hot. So we decided to go eat a lunch at the Rainforest Cafe which was amazing for Jane. Not only did she get to eat yummy food, she also got to see all the animals (great distraction). After lunch, we thought about maybe walking around a little more, but it started to rain, so we left. There was really only a few more rides that we could have MAYBE rode, so we didn't miss much. 

This was the only time it rained on us and it only rained for about 30 minutes. We thought for sure we were going to be rained on the entire trip because there was a hurricane coming through, but we missed it by one day. 

Once again, Jane (and MR. Hunt and I) took a long evening nap, we woke up to eat dinner, took a long night swim, and stayed up way past our bedtime. But it was a blast!

                  

Funny fact: Jane never slept with us before this trip. We tried to have her sleep with us once and she stayed up way past her bedtime and then asked to go to her own bed. I was happy about this because I didn't want to create bad habits, and Im so glad she likes her own bed. BUT for this special occasion we thought we could try again and see how it goes. We did have a suite so we had a separate room that she could have slept in, but we were just going to see what happened. This is why she stayed up super late. We tried to get her to go to bed without us while Mr. Hunt and I watched TV in the living room, but she kept coming out until we came and went to bed with her. SO, since this was the first time we've ever slept with her, we learned some of her sleep habits. One: She doesn't like blankets. All four nights, she slept without them. I always wondered when looking at her in the monitor at home if she was cold (and I always just thought the blanket fell off o her and she didn't know how to put them back on), but turns out she likes that. Two: She sleeps horizontal and likes to kick. I woke up in the middle of the night this night and decided to take a picture. This is Jane with her foot in Dad's head. That is the entire length of the bed, her head was on my chest before I got up. It definitely ant comfortable.

Disney World! Day 2

Magic Kingdom was where we spent the most time, two whole days. Then we spent one day in Animal Kingdom and one day in Hollywood Studios (we skipped Epcot this time around). So day two came, and I feel like Jane was more excited this morning because she knew what to expect. 

We grabbed a quick breakfast in the cafeteria at our resort (which was very yummy food by the way) and jumped on the bus!

We had fast passes to meet most of the princesses (so that we didn't have to stand in super long lines) but our main objective for the entire trip was to meet Ana and Elsa...NO MATTER WHAT! We didn't have fast passes for them because they are so popular and the fast passes go very quickly, so we went straight there first thing (since the line just gets longer and longer as the day goes).

If you know Jane you know she is very talkative. Im not sure Ive ever seen her speechless until this point. She walked right up to Ana and just stared at her...nodding every once in awhile....she was star struck! Of course we changed her into her Elsa dress.

Then Ana escorted Jane over to Elsa (which she didn't do for anyone else before us) so she could show Elsa Jane's icy powers. It was so cute to see her get special attention. Here they are waiting to see Elsa and practicing the powers.

Then Elsa told Ana to turn around and her and Jane stood next to each other. Once Ana turned back around she couldn't tell who was who! 

Again, Jane was speechless

Then we decided to go ahead and stand in line to see Rapunzel and Cinderella. They were in the castle together (we had already seen Cinderella the day before, but she wanted to see Rapunzel).

Then we went over and used our fast passes to meet Ariel. Jane didn't want to sit up correctly or look at Ariel for some reason, but it was still cute! The Ariel she met the day before in Cinderellas castle had legs, this Ariel had her fins!

Then we went over to Enchanted Tales with Belle. Basically all the children were different characters in Beauty and the Beast. Jane was a salt shaker, and Daddy volunteered to be a knight. Belle came in and told a story and all the kids got to participate. Then after, they all got to go up one by one and get their picture taken, but they couldn't really talk to her like she could with all the other princesses.

Of course we rode a ton more rides which again is hard to take pictures in, especially the dark ones. The Magic Kingdom wasn't very busy at all so we were able to ride every single ride that Jane was able to ride. Thats very rare!! 

Jane fell asleep in the bus ride back again. She is such a light sleeper so it was crazy to see Daddy pick her up from the bus, carry her back tot he room, and lay her on the bed without her waking up once!

                           

The maids always made Lala and Lovie do something cute. This day we got back and they were watching cartoons on tv! Jane always missed it because she was always passed out, so we just took pictures and showed her when she woke up!

She was such a good kid despite having such a strange sleep schedule while we were there. Not to toot my own horn, but I'm the scheduled one and I think it helped that I just threw that out the window as soon as we got there and I didn't worry about it at all.
