We went to Bluffton to see his Uncle Davis graduate high school. How exciting is that to know you went to your Uncle's graduation.
While we were there, Jackson met his
- Great Grammy Taylor
- Great Grandpa Joe
- Great Aunt Laura
- Great Aunt Lisa
- Cousin Ellie
- Cousin Michelle
- Cousin Bailey
- Cousin Dakota
- Cousin Denise
- Great Aunt Deb
Around 5 weeks old, Jackson started cooing and "talking."Its so fun to hear what his little voice sounds like
He has also been smiling SO much. He is such a happy baby and smiles whenever anyone smiles at him or talks to him. Makes my heart melt.
His legs and neck are super strong. He can pretty much hold his head up all the way for long periods of time. We can also hold him on our hip too, but he is still kind of small for that. He also tries to stand up when we hold him, and likes to kick his legs a lot.
His baby acne that he had a lot last month finally went away.
We switched him to size 2 diapers on June 13. He can still fit in size one but we ran out and had the 2s on hand.
He went to the pool with us for the first time, but didn't get in. Since he can't wear sunscreen, we keep him in the shade. Not sure if he will have his first swim this summer or not.
He cried tears for the fist time this month. The tears finally showed up. Poor thing.
He celebrated his first Father's Day. It was a fun relaxing day.
He went to the lake for the first time near Augusta Georgia
He met his
- Great Aunt Amy
- Great Uncle T-Buddy
- Cousin Sam
- Cousin Daniel
We clipped his nails for the first time. His toenails aren't long enough yet
He drinks 6oz every 4 hours.
On June 21st he took a nap in his crib for the first time. Now he takes one nap a day in there and enjoys it. He still sleeps in our room at night
I am still pumping, but stopped the middle of the night pump so I pump 3 times a day and have enough to feed him and freeze some as well
I think he may have giggled once this month. Very little giggle
He went to his first drive in movie. Nana, Pappy, Uncle Dylan, and Aunt Jenn were there. We saw Inside Out.
On June 18th I decided to not wake him up in the middle of the night to eat and see how long he would sleep. He slept until 4am
The next night was 5am
The next night he slept through the night.
Every since then he sleeps through the night (Until 8am)
He weights 12lbs 7oz (50th percentile)
He is 23 1/4 inches tall (57th percentile)
His head is 15 1/5 inches around (54th percentile)
Jackson,
You are such an easy going baby. We couldn't ask for a better baby. You are so smiley and happy all the time. You hardly ever cry or get fussy. We love you very much. Thanks for making our little family even better.
Love,
Mom, Dad, and Jane
