There is a park right down the street from our new home. Its great. There are people there all the time and with Austin being a "dog friendly city" people bring their dogs too and let them go off leash and run around. Kind of like an unofficial dog park if you will.
We decided to take a walk there this past weekend and we had a great time.
The views are awesome. As much as Id rather be in the country somewhere, the city views can be nice too.
We decided that that big tree was a great place to sit in the shade
We laid out a blanket and got comfy.
We left the fur babies on the leashes for a little bit, but then we let them off to play some fetch. We left River off the entire time and he did great (not chasing after people or other dogs), but if someone came close by, we had to put Hannah back on. Maybe one day she will learn.
Jane loved her time outside.
Then it was time for her to eat. It was a nice change of scenery for her meal.
Then we played some airplane before we had to leave
We didn't stay out long since it was pretty hot, but it was nice to get out and in the sun instead of cooped up in the house all weekend.
Oh, and just because I love this little outfit, Ill share some pictures of her in her chair. Thanks Great Aunt Debbie for the adorable outfit.
Someone should really see me try to get a smile on camera. The girl smiles so much these days, that's not the problem at all. Its that she is still camera shy or something. She gets these huge eyes and blank stare whenever the camera comes out. I am determined to change that. But until then, I have to have quick fingers and save the half smiles.
Blank stare....
Half Smile
Really Mom?
I love this dress
OK, that's enough. Is anyone still even reading this blog of mine? I have a feeling y'all are getting sick of all the pictures. I read alot of blogs and I cant believe that these moms and often just pick one picture to share. Clearly I don't have that ability yet.
Love,
Momma
