Jackson's 7 Month Update

Alright so Jackson is already almost 8 moths old so I better get going on this update. These pictures were taken on his 7 month birthday so they are accurate! :)

Jackson got to celebrate his first Halloween and also his first Thanksgiving this month. He dressed as a shark for Halloween and we spent Thanksgiving at his Uncle Dylan and Aunt Jenn's house. He slept during trick or treating and also during Thanksgiving dinner. Next year will be better.

He had his first food this month. It was bananas and we are doing Baby Led Weaning which means he feeds himself and no purees. Since then we have introduced purees as well, so he does both.

After bananas, he also has had toast, avocado, eggs, puffs, and sweet potatoes. Now with Baby Led Weaning, he has had much more than that, I just haven't kept track.

He experienced his first Daylight Savings when we had to fall back. He did pretty well. It took a few days to get back to his normal schedule, but otherwise he was a good baby with the same change.

He learned to walk in his walker. I put him in it just to have him in a different spot for a change of scenery. I didnt think he would actually figure out how to walk in it, but he did and he is fast! Jane also loves to push him around in it and he loves that too!

On November 12, we decided no more swaddle. He was being swaddled with his arms out anyway so it wasn't that big of a change and he did good.

Jackson can say "Dada" now. Im not sure he knows that Chris is Dada, but he says it a lot. He also says "ba" a lot too!

He is trying SO hard to crawl. He is getting up on his knees, trying to scoot and also planking. He is ready to go!

He is starting to be very vocal. He likes to hear himself. Although he is not as vocal as Jane was.

He is officially in the big boy bath tub. We have put the infant tub away. He loves bath time especially if Jane is in  with him.

Not sure how much he weighs but he is in some 6 months clothes but mostly 9 months. Footed pajamas are 12 months because he is long.

Look at this face!

Jackson is starting to look so big next to Jane. They are just the cutest and this is Jane's favorite part...taking pictures with him.

Jackson,
We love you so much! You are starting to be your own person and we love watching who you are turning into. You are still so relaxed and laid back, but you are also ready to GO and you want to keep up with your big sister.
Love,
Mommy!

Halloween 2015

Yes, I realize that Christmas is in two days and Im just now posting about Halloween. BUT, I do want to say that I may slowly stop blogging in the next few months. I really don't want to but Im so so busy that Im just falling behind and its almost not fun for me anymore. Plus, as most of you know, I have my own YouTube channel and I post daily vlogs on there so it almost like Im repeating everything on here. I will miss sharing all the pictures I take because I don't post pictures on YouTube. I can't decide, but I wanted to give everyone a heads up.

Anyway, onto Halloween. Jackson dressed as a shark, and Jane was a mermaid. We kind of did a theme with our good friends/neighbors. They borrowed our wagon and turned it into a pirate ship, so everyone was dressed in some sort of pirate/water theme....it turn out really cute.

Jane kept singing like she was Ariel from the Little Mermaid

Here is Jane with her best friend Mason. He was a pirate!

And here is the pirate ship. Doesn't it look awesome?

Jane just loved going up to the houses, ringing the doorbell or knocking and getting candy. These three kids had a blast. Jackson was sleeping in the stroller almost the entire time. We had to take his costume off because it was so puffy and then we never put it back on him. Oh well, we got cute pics!

Look at this cute little shark!

Kisses for the shark from the mermaid!

We had a great time. I think just like all the other holidays, each year will get more and more fun!

Love,
Jennifer

Dancing in the Rain

This was about a month ago, but its too good not to share. It was raining a TON and we had been cooped up in the house for days. Finally I just asked Jane if she wanted to go run around in the rain for a little bit. She was actually a little hesitant at first, but once she got going, she LOVED it!

Now overtime it rains she asks to go jump in the muddy puddles! Let them be kids!

Love,
Jennifer
